So what is Dia de les Muertos?

It is the Day of the Dead, a holiday celebrated on November 1 throughout Latin America, especially Mexico. It is a festival to honor the dead, mixing ancient Aztec rituals with Catholosism. Assuredly, the dead would be insulted by mourning and sadness. So instead it is celebrated with parties, food and drink.

We never require anyone to wear a costume to enjoy the party, but we always encourage everyone to get into the spirit. If you want to adhere to theme, traditionally, the Day of the Dead is represented by brightly painted skulls and skeletons, but there is no "wrong" costume.

Food and drinks will, as always, not stray far from the theme. There will be plenty to eat and drink, so I hope everyone can make it.
